ok I decided to post it on DA as well (as it's already on my LJ)
did that once, comparing her 2 pictures. and recently I had a conversation with some friend who was feeling down because she couldn't draw what she wanted, and this one is to cheer her up^^ I used to draw crappy pics as well!! XDDD

lol you can see the difference is so huge that it's unbelievable even for me O_o that time, when I was 13, not so many shows had influence on my drawing style. because we only had Sailor Moon and a few footbal show in our TV (such as captain tsubasa, which I ADORED), the design is not really........ impressive I must say^^; now I've seen many shows, some had bigger and some smaller influence on me, hence the difference. but still.....

when I did this comparison i wondered why those pics differ so much. maybe because i'm still searching my own style?? maybe because I still don't have one I can call mine?? what do you think?? do I draw in individual way, that when you see my pics on the net you can say for sure that it's me? or is it the one that everyone can draw in?? I'm really curious, please be honest

yea i guess when u start drawing for the first 5-6 years u cant find ur style probably kos u like copying other ppls drawings..XD like when i started out when i was 7.. but i DO think that u have ur own style now. congrats!

Wow, that is a very stunnig difference. It's grea to see how your style has come along. It has come far too! your proportions are so much better now! Keep up the stellar work.

I think as you draw more and more your hand almost decides what it likes for you. Certainly the face shape and layout as changed and you seem more confident with angles. I think I would be able to identify your work amongst others, but I cannot quite pinpoint what it is, apart from everything you do always having great 'flow' to it.

You have a mix of styles, plus a little spark from yourself, which has turned into your individual style. Just like it is for most anime artists.
But holy shit - that's some improvement... x_x

Very nice. I'm afraid my artwork still isn't that great when it comes directly from my head. But I found one of my old sketchbooks and I have improved where I had something to look at. Not much but oh well, I'm more of a writer anyway. lol

true, everytime I draw a fanart I try to make it as close to original as possible. but lately it still looks like I drew this^^; not entirely a copy but a fanart itself^^; it sounds strange XDD

and I'm happy you think my style is individual. thank you, it means a world to me:hug:
